Heartfelt Laughter

Friday, October 3, 2014

Last night, we giggled GENUINELY together for the first time.

You started doing this "gasp" accompanied by a shocked face when you turned the page of your book, and you love that it made me laugh, so you kept doing it... over and over and over. And everytime I would laugh, you would fall all to pieces. The kind of giggles that sound like they're bubbling up and spilling out all over the floor.

I was laughing more at you laughing at me, but it didn't matter... because the heartfelt laughter was the best part. I laughed so hard I cried, but then I didn't know if I was crying because I was laughing or because I felt so overwhelmed by how much I loved this little person that we'd made.

I want to find a million more ways to make you laugh like that.
