Mobile Fridays

Saturday, August 8, 2015

We vowed to make Fridays as fun-filled, family-focused as we can... Especially since I still have to work. But, the great news is that I work remotely, so as long as I have a charger and WIFI, we can go wherever we want.

This past Friday, we packed up and drove to Kent and had lunch at Dukes. I had an incredible chopped salad with prawns and scallops, and Porter had fresh grilled salmon and the most delicious green beans. And Paul's chowder, I can't even talk about it - lobster and sweet potato. It was heavenly.

We then drove back to Tacoma, to Point Defiance. We went to our favorite little hole-in-the-wall diner for milkshakes, and then to the park on North 30th, by Treos. Porter and Simon swung together, and we enjoyed every last bit of late summer sun... it was the perfect day.
