Him, Me, Us
  • Who writes this blog? Mostly Corianne, but Paul contributes too! You can see who wrote the post by looking at the top of each entry :)
  • Why do you have 2,344 blogs? Because it's my life's mission: to maintain thousands of blogs until at least one gets me a book or reality TV deal.
  • Where do you go to church? Champions Centre, only the best church on the planet.
  • You seem to be at church a lot. Why? Because it's just THAT COOL. :) Plus, haven't you heard that saying... "it takes a church to raise a child"? No? Is that not how it goes?
  • What does Porter mean? Why did you choose that name? Porter means "gatekeeper", and we thought that was really cool for a firstborn child. And he shares his middle name with his daddy.
  • How much did Porter weigh? 8lbs, 1 oz
  • Who caught him? (True story, I did get asked this question more than once. Not sure why) The delivering midwife caught my baby. Haha.
  • Are you so excited to be a mommy? Of course!
  • Can I give you some tips? Sure. Just don't be offended if I ignore said tips.
  • If it's a boy, are you naming him Simon? Hah. That's Paul's dream. Probably not, I just can't see myself with a son named Simon :)
  • Are you going to go all natural? I am going to try my hardest to go as long as I can, but I want the anesthesiologist on standby. I have family and friends that went all natural/at home, and I am seriously in awe of them. It's not that I don't think I can do it, I just am so grateful for the advancements we've made in the medical field in this day and age. If God has blessed us with the intelligence and technology to make childbirth pain free, who am I to say no? But, check back with me in a couple months. I've heard pregnancy makes you do weird things.
  • How are you feeling? Nauseous. Next question. I am feeling WONDERFUL at 21 weeks! Like normal, but a little fatter :)
  • What are you craving? As of right now (9 weeks), fruit and veggies. And lots and lots of water. It's kind of like the best diet ever. At 21 weeks, an entire bag of Chicago Mix, from Costco.
  • How are you, emotionally? Extreme. Wanna see? Normal, normal, normal. Maybe even freakishly calm?
  • Are you going to find out what you're having? Paul doesn't want to, I do. I have to push it out, so I win. (I talk a big game; I would love to wait, for Paul - but I just know myself better than that. I'll pull a Rachel and try to look at the doctor's sheet when Paul is not paying attention during the ultrasound - and then he won't believe me that I didn't see, and he will call and find out, and tell me. I can see it already.) We are having a BOY!
  • You should really go all natural. No uterus, no opinion.
  • When are you due? December 25th, 2012 December 18th, 2012
